Winter Road Trip

I know it has been a couple of weeks since I went day tripping around the Cabot Trail, but as promised, here are some pics of that famous trail and the Cape Breton Highlands National Park that is runs through! One of the things that I have always wanted to do was drive around the Cabot Trail in the winter to see what that beautiful landscape looks like blanketed with a layer of snow. I had that chance a few weeks ago when my mother and I rented a car and did just that! Luckily the weather that day was fabulous with mild temperatures that were just right; not so cold to make the day unenjoyable and not so warm to melt the recently fallen snow!
